Young Wild Hunters was created with the mission of helping hunters communicate the true essence of hunting and its values. To demonstrate how perfectly compatible it is with the modern world and how the new generations will take over. We work to design products and services aimed at allowing hunters to express themselves, communicate, and better feel the true essence of what they do.
Young Wild Hunters travel to Namibia, to a spectacular farm owned by the brothers Tim and Ralf Liedtke, whom they met at the famous IWA fair. Despite the familiarity, this time the Young Wild Hunters will be surprised to experience a hunt that is as pure and traditional as it is complicated.
A new adventure of the Young Wild Hunters in the territory of Namibia. The mountains of this hunting paradise are the ideal setting to discover leopard and warthog stalking techniques. We will also discover gastronomic recipes to make the most of the meat of some wild animals.
One of the most beautiful African big game trophies is undoubtedly the kudu. This antelope weighs over three hundred kilos, is over two meters tall and is unique because of its spiral-shaped horn. Stalking is an experience and shooting without optics is a challenge because the shooting distance has to be as short as possible.
Using technologies to monitor species populations, we carefully analyze the specimens that are present in the hunting areas. We learn the language of the different oryx tracks to know where the large specimens are moving. These two meticulous tasks are essential to obtain the best trophies.
The Liedtke brothers and their father lead the Young Wild Hunters to ancient cave paintings that can help us understand our origins. We will see clearly that hunting is something that has been with us since the dawn of humanity. They then go on an expedition to hunt springbok and oryx, where they learn first-hand that this hunting is not easy. This type of hunting requires a lot of effort and ambition. This is what real hunting looks like.
The series begins with a return to Namibia, a country that has already left an indelible mark on their hearts. Accompanied by experts Tim and Ralf Liedtke, the Young Wild Hunters embark on new adventures across the vast African plains. In this first episode, their main target is the resilient mountain zebra, which they hunt with a 300wm Hunting this animal is a real challenge, full of nerves, racing and the uncertainty that always accompanies hunting in the wild. Spectators will be able to feel the tension and excitement as our hunters get closer to their target, facing natural obstacles and testing their skill and patience.
The second episode offers a break from the intense hunting to explore the rich culture of Namibia. A local guide introduces Ignacio and Rafa to the ancient traditions and techniques of the locals. They learn how to light a fire using primitive methods and how to assemble a wooden bow, essential skills for hunters of yesteryear. Rafa ventures out on the hunt for the elusive wildebeest, an experience that not only tests his skills but also allows him to connect more deeply with the environment. The day culminates with a unique culinary experience, where they prepare a traditional recipe with sand grus, showing the importance of using and respecting every part of the prey.
This episode delves into the history and heritage of ancient hunters. Ignacio and Rafa visit caves with cave paintings that transport them to a time when hunting was essential for survival. These paintings are not only a testament to the past, but also a source of inspiration and reflection on how hunting has evolved. In addition to exploring these historical relics, the Young Wild Hunters travel to the coast to go fishing. This trip not only offers them an opportunity to show off their fishing skills, but also to enjoy a succulent meal among friends, celebrating the connection with nature.
The fourth episode takes Ignacio and Rafa to the spectacular Namib Desert. This desert, one of the oldest in the world, is home to an astonishing diversity of species. Here, the Young Wild Hunters are challenged to hunt oryx and springbuck, two emblems of the local fauna. The vast expanses of open terrain and lack of natural cover make close-ups extremely difficult. This episode highlights not only the skill of the hunters, but also their ability to adapt to one of the most inhospitable environments on the planet. The beauty of the Namib, with its rolling dunes and stunning landscapes, provides a stunning backdrop for their adventures.
In the final episode of the season, time is running out and opportunities are becoming scarce. Ignacio and Rafa must make the most of every remaining moment in Namibia. Ignacio continues to pursue the elusive springbucks, while both hunters prepare for a series of exciting confrontations with the facos (African warthogs). These animals, known for their cunning and endurance, represent a worthy challenge to close the season and one that a 6.5 RWS creedmor bullet will challenge. Viewers will witness spectacular takes and the culmination of a series full of emotion, learning and respect for nature.
