Dragon Lake near Quesnel, BC has rainbow trout to 10lbs and some of the largest aquatic insect hatches of any BC lake. The lake is full of goldfish, an invasive species introduced accidentally, but the large rainbows have adapted to feed on these tasty fish. On the Bench: Dons Goldfish Booby

The Upper Columbia River near Golden, BC is one of the best bull trout fisheries in North America. Bull trout to 20lbs are in the system and every year one over 15lbs is landed. It was exceptionally cold this year but we still managed a few nice fish. On the Bench: White Lightning
