Following up on last year, Brendan heads to the UBC Marine Research center in Bamfield, BC. He participates in a new study looking to discover the effects of sport fishing on caught and released salmon. Brendan goes through all of the details and process of the study which measures oxygen levels of salmon during angling events and compares it to their resting oxygen intake. This unique study could help with establishing best practices for releasing fish in the future.
