Widow Maker Trees & Adventures
Joel Theriault and his buddy Mike Lacroix head to a remote wilderness camp and use shotguns to drop a “widow maker” tree – called a widow maker because guys get under them with chainsaws, the trees fall on the guys, and create a widow. The guys then get into jacking and lifting a problematic shed. After the work, it’s time to get out fishing and the guys catch 50 walleye and pike in about an hour – followed by a great fish fry on the lake.

Fishing off the Floatplane
Joel Theriault and his friend Miguel Sanel fly out to help guest Jim Aston to light a propane fridge at an outpost camp. Then the pair heads to a remote wilderness lake for a few hours of fishing on the side of the floatplane. Miguel reveals that he has been struggling with severe vision loss, has gone legally blind in the past year, lost his driver’s license, job, and hope. Through the day and into the evening, Joel reminds Miguel that despite these new vision loss problems, his friends and the outdoor experiences that he loves so much will always be there for him.

Adventures with the Theriault Children
Joel is busy around the lodge organizing live bait for the guests when his 2-year-old daughter Alana Theriault arrives to help with the worms. Shortly after, Joel and his 4-year-old son Matteo go collect the chicken eggs. The pair then heads out on a fly in fishing adventure with guest Chuck Langill, catch a bunch of walleye, and Matteo wins the fishing trophy for the night. The next day, Joel gets stuck changing septic pumps, then cleans the walleye with Matteo, cooks a walleye supper, and heads back out one last time for an evening fish.

The Boys Fly Out to Fix a Dock
Canadian outfitter Joel Theriault (www.AirIvanhoe.com) and his friends Miguel and Dave adventure to a newly purchased outpost cottage where they repair a dock and do some fantastic fishing. The spring ice breakup left the dock in a dangerous condition, and the guys cut a few cedar trees to put it back together. Dave’s hand is cut but some quick medical attention allows him to stay in the bush. Great fish fry’s and adventure await.

Waterfalls and Walleye
Canadian outfitter Joel Theriault and his friends Miguel and Dave adventure to a newly purchased outpost cottage where they discover wildlife, great fishing, hornets, and vintage vehicles. The guys take about a 20-mile boat ride up the river with two motors mounted on the back for speed and safety. They explore the waterfalls, catch a bunch of fish, cook sandwiches and walleye over an open fire, and prepare to open a brand-new cottage for guests.

Jacking Camps & Catch’n Walleye
Canadian outfitter Joel Theriault and his friends Miguel, Dave, and Shawn lift an entire cottage about 18” into the air to install new support beams. The ground is soft and wet, the old beams were soft and rotten. A day piece of cake job turned into a 5-day nightmare. The guys did fantastic fishing, caught some beautiful walleye, and had an amazing fish fry!

Natural Stairs, Chainsaws n’ Walleyes
Canadian outfitter Joel Theriault and his friends Miguel, Travis, Marc, and Shawn create an all-natural staircase after they run into unexpected wood problems and lumber shortages. Walleye fishing heads up when the guys find a hidden drop off on their depth finder. Marc and Shawn fly into camp on day 2 and with age comes experience and plenty of amazing cooking skills.

Bass Taco’s is on the menu. Miguel and Joel discuss Miguel’s new vision loss problems with a fillet knife in Miguel’s hands. The guys find moose tracks around the cottage, wildlife, and a huge amount of fish.

Slingshot Trees, Windows, Walleye and Bass
Canadian outfitter Joel Theriault and his friends Miguel, Travis, Andy, and Joey fly into a wilderness cottage where they paint the deck and shed, cut down some dangerous trees and then fly to a secondary cottage to install a window. The guys split into two groups, fish for the day, and then have an amazing fish fry.

Canoe Rescue and Lakeside Pike Gumbo

The guys find chaga which is an amazing anti-oxidant / anti cancer food. The guys light a fire on a remote island with no matches, lighter, or gas - in the rain. Joey cooks an amazing pike gumbo soup for everyone to warm up. A monster pike grabs a small bass and everyone gets to see this giant fish.
