Curtis teams up with legendary NCAA head coach Bob Huggins for the 7th annual Fish Fry to raise money for his two foundations the Norma May Huggins Foundation and Remember the Miners that gives scholarships to kids that lost their loved ones in mining accidents. The event is held at the beautiful Harman's Cabins in West Virginia.
Curtis returns to Cuba to fish with Avalon Fishing Company in the pursuit of monster bonefish. He also takes his good friend Rick Heim to chase permit, but the size of the bonefish keeps him occupied.

Curtis and the crew cover PHWFF Regional casting competition in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The winning recipients were awarded a monster redfish trip of a life time to Oriental, North Carolina with world renown guide Gary Dubiel.
Curtis and Autumn travels to Yellow Creek Trout Club in pursuit of a grand slam during the 17 year Cicada brood hatch. During the pursuit, Autumn heads back to college and Curtis lands an IGFA Trout Grandslam with his buddy Steven Renosky, owner of Yellow Creek Trout Club.

Curtis, his daughter Autumn, and buddy Rick Heim travel across the ocean to the Seychelles Islands for a bucket list trip of a lifetime. The flight is over 23 hrs one way so they decide to play tourist and take a break in Paris to check out the city and the Eiffel Tower. After that they continue to the Seychelles Islands where they do a little bit of relaxing and of course do some fishing with Alphonse Fishing Company.

Curtis takes his wife, Shelly, to Alaska to see their good friends the Johnsons at Katmai Trophy Lodge in King Salmon, AK. Shelly connects with top-guide Sage and on a fly out to the back country, Shelly chases the IGFA World Records on the fly as a dedication to honor Sonya.
Curtis is a patient man, but seventeen years is a long time to wait for such an incredible hatch. The 17-year Brood X Cicada Hatch was popping on the historic West Virginia Greenbrier River. New River Trophy Outfitters guides the crew as they finally reap the benefits of the special hatch leading to hefty smallmouth bass catches.
Predatory freshwater fish with sharp teeth and powerful jaws gets checked off the bucket list as Curtis journeys to South America to experience the fierce tug of the golden dorados. While in the vicinity of these beasts, sometimes called the River Tigers, it is too tempting for Curtis to pass up. With his longtime friend, Rick, Curtis and the crew spend a couple days in Buenos Aires, catch a bus to the dense areas of the Argentinian jungle, and meet up with the stellar guides from the Don Joaquin River Lodge. To experience the chase on the fly is the Apex of the River, especially the bulging female catches, is worth the journey!
Like many other treasured annual events, the Westervelt Ecological Services Conservation Fly Fishing trip was cancelled. The amazing folks from Westervelt werent about to let COVID dampen their spirits. With sincere generosity, they donated the trip to a former patient of the WVU Medicine Childrens Hospital.
Lets Go! Mountaineers! echoed in Curtis head as he takes Evan Staley, WVUs award winning kicker, with him on a road trip through the great state of West Virginia to the storied Slaty Fork River. Curtis takes Evan on a challenging hike back into some of the untouched waters of West Virginia where wild brown and rainbow trout are lying in wait for a challenge. On waters downstream of the Snowshoe Resort, Curtis and Evan take full advantage of the bursting annual famous Sulphur hatch that makes these fish vulnerable to a matched dry fly.
Curtis rounds up his family and friends and travels down to the beautiful landscapes of Patagonia.
Curtis visits the world-renowned waters of the Upper Gauley River in West Virginia, where he catches some perfect smallmouth bass on the fly. Then the FRC crew experience an adrenaline rush like no other when Adventures on the Gorge takes them down the white waters of the Gauley River. Later they attend a private concert by country music artist, George Shingleton, in honor of West Virginia State Troopers.
Curtis travels to Pennsylvania to fish Yellow Creek with good friend, Steve Renosky and guide Bobby Kish. The stellar guides put them on not only some large hefty fish on the fly, but a variety of fish. Curtis and the crew head to Alaska to chase northern pike on the fly with good friend Captain James Johnson from Katmai Trophy Lodge. Although Curtis loses his composure along with a large pike, after a good nights rest, he and James return for redemption.

A winter storm leads to icy conditions making it almost impossible to fish for steelhead in Northern Ohio. Our good buddy Duane lets us know the ice has melted so we head straight back up to chase monster steelhead in small streams.
Ride along WV railways to fish deep in the heart of the West Virginia mountains to fly fish for trout. We have so much fun we continue our trip down river a few miles in search of small mouth bass on the fly.
Curtis shows us what it is like to go 8 miles underground in a coal mines in the Appalachian hills which keeps our lights on and steel made to build our automobiles. In return, Curtis takes a couple, hard-working, coal miners and gas & oil workers to Four Fillies Lodge fly fishing to reward them.
